Morphological Investigation and Fractal Properties of Realgar Nanoparticles

Abstract: Some arsenic compounds can show extraordinary polymorphism. Realgar (As 4 S 4 ) is among several minerals with various crystal forms and is one of the most important sources of arsenic for pharmaceutical use. Currently, realgar is used as an arsenic source in many industries, such as weaponry, publishing, textiles, cosmetics, and health products. In this paper, we used and reported new methods for the purification, nanonization, and structural morphological investigations of As 4 S 4 by using planetary ball mi… Show more

“…Aging of arsenic sulphide containing painting sys tems often leads to whitening or increased transpar ency due to the formation of watersoluble white arsenic trioxide and/or arsenate species plane move ments [27]. The origin of the main band detected at 478 cm −1 is related with the As-S vibration [28,29].…”

“…Additionally, selenium is important for maintaining the maturation of T-cells and their functions, as well as for the production of T-cell based antibodies (Bae & Kim, 2020). Nanoparticles (NPs) are defined as particles less than 100 nm in diameter (Ghamami et al, 2016;Lashgari et al, 2015). NPs have many beneficial applications in many fields (Ananth et al, 2019;Gangadoo et al, 2019) to reduce toxicity, improve bioavailability, and control and maintain the release of magnifying materials in their effective forms (Khurana et al, 2019).…”
