The media has set a standard for the contemporary "ideal mother" (e.g., Douglas & Michaels, 2004;Johnston & Swanson, 2003;Keller, 1994;Kuperberg & Stone, 2008), and breastfeeding has become a kind of "politically correct" in the current social environment. The results of this study show that the responses from professionals show a higher proportion of positive attitudes, and although our data include posts on other feeding styles, the majority are still speci c to breastfeeding.…”
