Multi-Mode Driving Control of a Parallel Hybrid Electric Vehicle Using Driving Pattern Recognition

Abstract: Vehicle performance such as fuel consumption and catalyst-out emissions is affected by a driving pattern, which is defined as a driving cycle with grades in this study.
