Optimization of process parameters in reaming operation is used mainly to reduce the production cost in industries. The current study focuses on the optimization effect of process parameters in cryogenic reaming of Titanium alloy. The input factors considered are cooling environment, cutting speed and feed rate. The effects of reaming parameters are cutting temperature, thrust force, torque, surface roughness, circularity and cylindricity. Multi response optimization-Grey relational analysis is used to optimize the process parameters. The smaller the better is used to minimize the better output responses and to find out the most significant factor affecting the reaming operation. As a result, the lower level parameter cutting speed 10 m/min and feed rate 0.1 mm/rev under cryogenic LN 2 cooling are found to be optimal conditions. The most significant factors (higher to lower) which affect the reaming operations are feed rate, cutting speed and cooling environment.
