Multichannel Calculation ofDs*Vector States and theDsJ+(2632)R

Abstract: We study bound states below threshold and resonances above threshold in the D 0 K + and D + s η systems, using a many-coupled-channel model for nonexotic meson-meson scattering applied to states with the quantum numbers of cs quark-antiquark vector mesons. We fit the ground state at 2.112 GeV, whence the lowest resonances in D 0 K + come out at 2.61, 2.72, 3.03, and 3.08 GeV. The resonance at 2.61 GeV acquires a width of about 8 MeV, while its partial P-wave cross section is up to six times larger in D s η tha… Show more

“…0:190 GeV, m n 0:406 GeV (n u, d), m s 0:508 GeV, and m c 1:562 GeV, as in previous work [8,9,12,14,15]. Finally, we assume a mass scaling of the parameters a and given by [12,13] a ij ij p constant; ij ij p constant; (5) where the labels ij refer to a particular combination of quark flavors, and ij m q i m q j =m q i m q j is the corresponding reduced quark mass.…”

“…Several papers analyze the spectroscopy of excited charm mesons by extending the quark model to include couplings to the DK continuum. This coupled channel effect has been analyzed within the quark model [16], chiral quark models [17,18] as well as unitarized meson models [19,20,21]. The unitarized meson model has also been used to make predictions for the spectroscopy of excited B mesons [20,22] given in section II and explicit formulae for the masses at one loop appear in the Appendix.…”

“…BaBar [36] [41,42,43]. The purpose of this study is to (1) devise a general parametrization of all the form factors relevant to H → V weak transitions which would take into account known experimental results on heavy meson resonances as well as known theoretical limits of heavy quark effective theory (HQET) and LEET relevant to H → V weak transitions; to (2) investigate contributions of the newly discovered charm mesons to D → V semileptonic decays within an effective model based on HMχT by incorporating the newly discovered heavy meson fields into the HMχT Lagrangian and utilizing the general form factor parametrization.…”
