Recent studies have been able to use multiphase approaches to solve the taxonomy of Cytospora (Fan et al 2014a, b, 2015a, b, Yang et al 2015, Lawrence et al 2016, Norphanphoun et al 2017, Pan et al 2018, Zhu et al 2018a, Zhang et al 2019.
