Abstract:Carbon nanotube (CNT)/SiO 2 composite nanofibres were fabricated by electrospinning treated calcination under nitrogen atmosphere. To obtain CNT/SiO 2 composite nanofibres, functionalised CNTs (fCNTs) were prepared by chemical oxidation and mixed with tetraethyl orthosilicate : H 2 O : H 3 PO 4 : poly(vinyl alcohol) solutions. The resulting solutions were electrospun under adjusted parameters and the properties of the composite nanofibre solution were measured. The dispersity and direction of CNTs in the compo… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
