In recent years, various surfactants have been used as collectors for selective separation of diaspore and kaolinite in direct flotation, such as oleic acid (Huang et al, 2012), tall oil, oxidized paraffin soap (Yuehua et al, 2004;Hu et al, 2005), 733, styrene phosphate, hydroxamic acids, propyl gallate (Lyu et al, 2019) and their mixtures (Jiang et al, 2014), and novel synthetic chelates (Deng et al, 2015(Deng et al, , 2016.
