“…It is worth to mention that T. indica is capable of being transmitted through seeds, soil, and air, making it particularly challenging to control and manage (Kaur and Kaur, 2005;Carris et al, 2006;Kashyap et al, 2019;Bishnoi et al, 2020). Several disease management options are available, including prophylactic measures, fungicide sprays, and deploying partially resistant wheat cultivars (Emebiri et al, 2021;Kashyap et al, 2022a;Singh et al, 2023b). However, these measures may not be entirely effective, especially under high disease pressure (Goates and Jackson, 2006;Bala et al, 2022).…”

“…Nanotechnology is a branch of science which deals with the synthesis and application of nano particles having size 1-100 nm ( Jasrotia et al, 2018;Roco 2003). Now a days, nanotechnology is emerging as a promising approach to be incorporated in agriculture to improve productivity of different crops through seed treatment with nano particles, their foliar spray on plants, nano-fertilizers for balanced crop nutrition, nanoherbicides for effective weed control, nano-insecticides for plant protection, early detection of plant diseases and nutrient deficiencies using diagnostics kits and nanopheromones for effective monitoring of pests (Kashyap et al, 2022;Singh et al, 2021). Zinc is essential for plant's enzyme system as it acts as cofactors, metal components and other regulatory factors of many enzymes (Kushwaha et al, 2021;Prasad et al, 2012) which comes in the fourth position after nitrogen, phosphorous and potassium.…”
