Nanotube‐Boramidic Acid Derivative for Dopamine Sensing

Abstract: A new sensor, based on boramidic acid-bounded MWCNTs (Multi-walled carbon nanotubes), was synthesized in three simple steps. Modification of the sensor surface was accomplished using boric acid in which the boron atom is adjacent to the NH group. Characterization, electrochemical behaviors, and stability of newly modified nanosensor were completed using SEM (scanning electron microscope), TEM (Transmission electron microscope), CV (cyclic voltammetry), EIS (electron impedance), DTA (Differential thermal analys… Show more

“…In addition, the linear equation between peak potential and pH was expressed as E p (V) = −0.0536 pH + 0.2845 ( R 2 = 0.9906). The slope’s absolute value was approximately equal to the universal theoretical value of 0.059 V/pH [ 39 ], showing that the oxidation of FT on NH 2 -MIL-125(Ti)/RGO/GCE was a double proton and electron process in Figure S2 , where the number of protons was equal to the number of electron transfers in the electrochemical oxidation reaction.…”

“…CNTs are highly preferred due to their structural, mechanical, electrical, and electrochemical properties [32,33] . Therefore, with these properties, carbon nanotubes exhibit significant surface enhancement effects compared to bare electrodes, and electrodes modified with nanomaterials are widely used [34] . Due to all these properties, it has been widely used to detect different analytes such as favipiravir, [35] paracetamol, [36] methamphetamine, [37] valrubicin, [38] valganciclovir, [39] fludarabine, [40] and sorafenib [41] with various CNT‐modified electrodes.…”
