Neuro-fuzzy iterative learning control for 4-poster test rig

Abstract: In this paper, a new control method is presented for the 4-poster test systems. The primary aim of the paper is to improve the convergence speed and decrease the error rate for model-based iterative learning control (ILC), a widely used method as a tracking control. First, the dynamic equations of the system are generated, and the control problem is formulated. Then, an inverse model of the system is established directly through the adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system (ANFIS) with auxiliary parameter (piston… Show more

“…Electro-hydraulic shaking table is one of the most important pieces of equipment for replicating actual vibration conditions in various applications, including biomedical and geological researches 1 3 , engineering seismic research works 4 6 , aerospace vibration tests 7 , 8 , and vehicle road simulations 9 , 10 , etc. In the context of shaking table test, the control-structure interaction (CSI) 11 13 is the dynamic coupling between shaking table and load (that is the test structure model) (Fig.…”

“…Some researchers have arranged different-shaped excitation patterns (traveling bumps) on the surface of the drum test bench to simulate the excitation of target pavement to obtain an effect like that of the traditional hydraulic servo road simulation [7]. In terms of road simulation load control methods, Ufuk Dursun et al [8] established an inverse model of the system through the adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system (ANFIS) with the auxiliary parameter (piston position) as a serial combination of two sub-models. They conduct extensive simulations that demonstrate the proposed single-layer and double-layer models.…”
