Neurocognitive and Psychological Outcomes in Adults With Dextro-Transposition of the Great Arteries Corrected by the Arterial Switch Operation

Abstract: Adults who have undergone a neonatal ASO to correct d-TGA have an increased risk of cognitive deficits and psychiatric disorders. Evaluation of long-term neuropsychological and psychosocial outcomes in early adulthood is a crucial step to anticipate for adapted treatment strategies in adults with congenital heart disease.
