Abstract: Neurodegenerative diseases, namely Alzheimer’s (AD), Parkinson’s (PD), and Huntington’s disease (HD) together with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and multiple sclerosis (MS), devastate millions of lives per year worldwide and impose an increasing socio-economic burden across nations.
