Neuropathogenesis of Neurotropic Viruses

Abstract: Neuropathogenesis can simply be defined as the mechanisms of the origin, development and progression of the CNS disease which comprises both neuroinvasion and neurovirulence. Viruses that have the ability to induce neuropathogenesis are called neurotropic pathogens.
