New Efficient Synthesis of 3-Carboxylquinolines

Abstract: ABSTRACT. Rapid and efficient synthesis of substituted 3-carboxylquinoline derivatives from 4-chloro-3-formylcoumarin and substituted anilines using 30% H2SO4 in methanol at room temperature within the duration of 5-30 min., through domino condensation-cyclization-ring opening reaction.
