“…It has been demonstrated that La 3 TaO 7 and Y 3 TaO 7 serve as host materials with suitable sites for Bi 3+ doping, both exhibiting broad bluegreen emission bands upon UV excitation. 38,39 To the best of our knowledge, no previous reports have been made on the Gd 3 TaO 7 :Bi 3+ ,Eu 3+ system. The existence of two distinct Gd 3+ sites in Gd 3 TaO 7 provides suitable doping positions for both Bi 3+ and Eu 3+ , making it possible for the Gd 3 TaO 7 :Bi 3+ ,Eu 3+ system to achieve single-phase white light emission.…”
