New Insights into Human Nondisjunction of Chromosome 21 in Oocytes

Abstract: Nondisjunction of chromosome 21 is the leading cause of Down syndrome. Two risk factors for maternal nondisjunction of chromosome 21 are increased maternal age and altered recombination.
