New insights into the alkoxy effects on auxiliary adsorption and inhibiting charge recombination in dye-sensitized solar cells with high open circuit voltage: a theoretical investigation

Abstract: The interaction between an alkoxy group and the TiO2 surface can not only enhance the Eads of dyes remarkably, but can also effectively inhibit the electron recombination process by decreasing the surface area offering charge recombination sites.
