New mathematical optimization models for RFQ structures

Abstract: Conventional approach to the designing of controlled systems is to start with calculation of program motion and to continue afterwards by examining perturbed motions using equations in deviations. It does not always, however, result in desirable outcomes. Thus, while analysing perturbed motions, which depend significantly on the program motion, it can happen, that dynamical characteristics of obtained perturbed motions are not satisfactory. This paper suggests new mathematical models, which allow joint optimiza… Show more

“…Optimization may be considered in higher level of actor-actor coordination, where it is decided which actors and how they will perform complicated tasks. There are several optimization techniques such as, mathematical optimization [26], search engine optimization [27], stochastic optimization [28] and so on.…”

“…Obtained expression for the variation of fwctionai (5) allows conducting simultaneous optimization of programmed and perturbed motions. It is important to note that we often find necessity ofjoint optimization in solving various optimization problems, in particular, in the problems of charged particle beam dynamic optimization in linear accelerators [3]. The obtained numerical results show the possibility of applying this mathematical theory for dynamics optimization problem for charged pahcles in accelerators.…”
