New method for investigation of cells and other biological objects in analytical cytology

Abstract: New method and instrument intended for checking the content of biology particles in dimension band 0.1-10.0 mkm in water flow is described in this report. The instrument measures the intensity of light scattered by the particles suspended in liquid flow when they are crossing the laser beam. The results of studying of light scattered by platelet and bacterium's such as Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Escherichia coli, Microcôccus lutteus in such liquid mediums as physiological solution and glucose solution are describ… Show more

“…Similarity of refractive indexes of bacterial cells' cytoplasm and surrounding environment, which respond the criterion of using Reley-Gans'es theory allow to claim that this model is suitable for description of light scattering processes by the microbiological objects. For the estimation of particle sizes distribution a method, which is based on the registration of dissipated light intensity changes is offered 13,14,15 . This method includes sounding of flow suspended bacterial cells by monochromatic coherent light, registration of signals of co-operation of sounding radiation with the explored microbiological objects by detects amplitudes and durations of scattered light impulses.…”

“…In this work a new method for the estimation of light scattering properties of bacterial cells is offered 6,7,8 . This method includes the sounding of flow suspended bacterial cells by monochromatic coherent light, the registration of cooperative signals of sounding radiation and the explored microbiological objects by detecting amplitudes and duration of scattered light impulses.…”
