A muon experimental facility, also known as the Muon Science Establishment (MUSE), is integrated into the Materials and Life Science Facility building with the spallation neutron facility, JSNS, and consumes about 5% of proton beam from RCS to provide the world highest intensity pulsed muon beam for a variety of muon science experiments. In this review, we present the current status of MUSE, which is still in the process of being developed into its fully loaded form.
