The development of agricultural machinery has a big role in agriculture to increase farmers’ income. Harvest handling with machine aid is significantly more productive than manual harvesting in a sustainable agricultural system. The combine harvester is an example of a piece of agricultural equipment utilized in contemporary agriculture. The purpose of this study was to see how the level of farming community satisfaction with the use of the Combine Harvester machine in Ujong Tanah Village, Setia District, Aceh Barat Daya Regency. The method used in this study is the Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) to obtain valid (direct) data so that the level of satisfaction of the farming community with the use of the Combine Harvester can be determined. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the CSI for the confirmation of expectation indicators is 0.6126 or 61.26%. The CSI of the indicator of interest in reuse is 0.6477 or 64.78%. The CSI of the indicator of willingness to recommend is 0.6429 or 64.29%. The requirements for Quite Satisfied are met by the average CSI for agricultural community satisfaction with the usage of a combine harvester, which is 0.6344 or 63.44%.

Tercapainya peningkatan produksi untuk mencapai swasembada bawang putih di Indonesia ditentukan oleh perilaku petani menanam tanaman hortikultura bernilai tinggi tersebut. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis keinginan (willingness) petani menanam bawang putih dan faktor-faktor yang memengaruhinya dengan menggunakan pendekatan theory of planned behavior (TPB). Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer dari survei 157 petani bawang putih di Kecamatan Sembalun sebagai salah satu sentra produksi bawang putih di Indonesia. Analisis data menggunakan skoring dan Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa willingness petani Sembalun menanam bawang putih pada tingkat sedang. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa sikap, norma subjektif, dan kontrol perilaku berpengaruh positif dan signifkan terhadap keinginan petani menanam bawang putih. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan strategi peningkatan willingness petani menanam bawang putih berdasarkan faktor-faktor internal maupun eksternal pada tingkat mikro, meso dan makro.

Development of modern agricultural sector requires agricultural tools and machinery. Agricultural equipment and machinery technology is considered capable of increasing agricultural production and efficiency of time and labor. Furthermore, farmers’ decision on agricultural mechanization usage is influenced by internal and external factors. The recent study aims to determine the influencing factors toward farmer’s decision in harvest technology selection in rice farming. The research was conducted in Seputih Raman District, Central Lampung Regency in September – October 2016. The farmer’s decision determining factors were analyzed using binary logistic regression. As a result, the determining factors were the ease of operating rice harvester machines and land ownership status by farmers. However, new technology requirements are easy to adopt, one of which is the ease of testing. Therefore, technically harvester machine assembling is not complicated and easy to operate.
