[ 1 ]” Kambiz et al reported that “Human papillomavirus deoxyribonucleic acid may not be detected in non-genital benign papillomatous skin lesions by polymerase chain reaction.”[ 1 ] The result in this work is concordant with the previous report by Meibodi et al [ 2 ] There are many possible explanations for this finding. The null prevalence might be due to no viral infection in the studies skin lesions or there might be some problem in the laboratory analytical process.…”
