As shown above for CO sensors, the responses of sensors with WO 3 electrodes decrease as the temperature is increased above 600 C. The responses of sensors with NiO electrodes, however, remain high up to operating temperatures of 900 C. The response of NiO electrodes can be increased even further with the addition of ruthenium [268].…”

“…We have extensively investigated several oxide-SEs, such as CdMn 2 O 4 [2,3], CdCr 2 O 4 [4,5], WO 3 [6,7], NiCr 2 O 4 [8], ZnFe 2 O 4 [9,10], ZnCr 2 O 4 [11], ZnO [12].
