Nocardioides salsibiostraticola sp. nov., isolated from biofilm formed in coastal seawater

Abstract: A Gram-staining-positive, non-motile, aerobic, non-spore-forming and short rod-shaped bacterial strain, PAMC 26527 The optimum temperature and pH for growth were 20 6C and pH 7.5. The major cellular fatty acids of strain PAMC 26527 T were iso-C 16 : 0 , C 17 : 1 v8c and C 18 : 1 v9c and the major isoprenoid quinone was MK-8(H 4 ).
