Non-Hermitian chiral anomalies in interacting systems
Sharareh Sayyad
Abstract:The emergence of chiral anomaly entails various fascinating phenomena such as anomalous quantum Hall effect and chiral magnetic effect in different branches of (non-)Hermitian physics. While in the single-particle picture, anomalous currents merely appear due to the coupling of massless particles with background fields, many-body interactions can also be responsible for anomalous transport in interacting systems. In this Letter, we study anomalous chiral currents in systems where interacting massless fermions … Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
