Abstract:HighlightsHeparin-induced thrombocytopenia is a rare but serious condition, regardless of the treatment dose or thromboprophylaxis.A 55-year-old man, who underwent portless endoscopic radical nephrectomy, was diagnosed with non-immune mediated thrombocytopenia.Surgeons should know that HIT is diagnosed based on clinical and serologic findings.
