“…The solution of sodium citrate (3.8%) served as an anticoagulant. The following parameters of coagulant and anticoagulant plasma systems were evaluated: TFA, NEFA [9], tissue plasminogen activator activity [8], and anticoagulant activity (test for activated partial thromboplastin time, APTT) [4]. Platelet aggregation in the plasma was studied on an aggregometer.…”

“…The following biochemical parameters of blood plasma were assessed: total (TFA) and nonenzymatic fibrinolytic activity (NFA) (Kudrjashov and Lyapina, 1986), the activity of plasminogen tissue activator (TPA activity) (Astrup and Müllertz, 1952), the acti vated partial thromboplastin time (APTT) (Dolgov et al, 2005), Hageman dependent (XIIa) fibrinolysis (HDF) using the test setup (Scientific Production Firm Renam, Russia), and the general fibrinolytic activity (GFA) using the lysis time of euglobulin frac tion (EF) of blood plasma. In blood plasma enriched with platelets, aggregation of the former was detected by the method of Berkovskii et al (2003) with 2-5 μM of adenosine 5 diphosphate (ADP) solution as an aggregant; the detection was done using an aggregom eter (Moscow State University, Russia).…”
