“…Empirical research on gender role attitudes in Germany has indicated that, although people generally do support egalitarian roles with regard to the responsibilities of men and women in family life, child care, employment opportunities, and political participation (BMFSFJ, 1996;Zentralarchiv für empirische Sozialforschung, 2000), differences in attitudes occur between groups of people by factors such as age, sex, educational level, and religious affiliation.
