Norsk pasientregister: Administrativ database med mange forskningsmuligheter

Abstract: SAMMENDRAGOpplysninger om alle sykehusinnleggelser og polikliniske konsultasjoner ved norske offentlige og private sykehus som er knyttet til ordningen med innsatsstyrt finansiering innhentes og administreres av Norsk pasientregister (NPR). Ventelistedata administreres også av NPR. Registeret eies av Helsedepartementet som også finansierer driften, og drives av forskningsinstituttet SINTEF Helse hvor NPR er en egen organisasjonsenhet.
