Abstract

<jats:title>Abstract</jats:title><jats:p>2-(E)-Dim ethyl(chloro)stannyl-3-diethylboryl-2- pentene (lc) reacts with trimethyltin hydride (3) to give the corresponding alkenyl(dim ethyl)tin hydride (2). Compound 2 has been characterized by <jats:sup>1</jats:sup>H, <jats:sup>11</jats:sup>B, <jats:sup>13</jats:sup>C, <jats:sup>119</jats:sup>Sn NMR . Neither the NMR nor the IR data are in support of an intramolecular Sn-H-B bridge.</jats:p>
