Noves ruralitats i desenvolupament rural.

“…Furthermore [ 27 ], defines rural development as a ‘process of balanced and self-sustainable revitalisation of the rural world based on its economic, social and environmental potential, through a regional policy and an integrated application of territorially based measures by participatory organisations,’ with area and rural development being two closely related conceptual elements. Similarly [ 28 ], identifies abundant literature of the new paradigm of rural development, which contributes to the dynamics currently present in these territories. However, it recognises that the concept of rural development is ambiguous and poorly defined.…”

“…Usually, foundations, parent associations, or social entities promoted the project (La Caixa in Casa Dalmases (Tables 1 and 5); Catalunya-La Pedrera in Delícies del Berguedà (Tables 1 and 6)), or there were agreements with the local administration (Barcelona City Council in Can Calopa (Tables 1 and 4)), all of which help with development. There were always positive synergies in the territory and community where the project is located, with little investment and a significant total impact, promoting SLD [57]. The public administration invests in grants to employ beneficiaries and technicians and obtains a positive return in tax revenue and savings on social subsidies.…”
