Nuclear structure study of37Cl

Abstract: Properties of levels up to 5 MeV excitation in 37C1 were studied with 37Cl(p,p'7)37C1, 37C1(0~, 0(7)37C1 and 34S(~,p7)37C1 reactions. Results are discussed with reference to the many-particle shell model with an effective surface delta interaction. PACS:27.30.+t; 23.20.-g; 21.60.Cs * This work formed part of the PhD thesis of J.J.
