Numerical study on the thermohydraulic performance of a reciprocating room temperature active magnetic regenerator

Abstract: In this paper, the thermohydraulic performance of a reciprocating room temperature active magnetic regenerator (AMR), with gadolinium (Gd) particles used as a magnetocaloric material (MCM) and water used as a working fluid, was numerically investigated.
