Background The treatment and prevention of perinatal venous thromboembolism (VTE) are challenging because of the potential for both fetal and maternal complications. Methods This study developed a rapid assessment scale for VTE and evaluate its validity based on Delphi-AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) method in China. The research was conducted by literature retrieval and two rounds of Delphi expert consultation. The item pools of the scale were developed and a questionnaire was designed according to literature retrieval published between 2010 and 2020. A survey was conducted among experts from 25 level A hospitals in China, and data of experts’ opinions were collected and analyzed by the Delphi method. Results A perinatal VTE risk assessment scale was formed, including 5 first-level items, 20 s-level items and 40 third-level items. The response rates in the two rounds of expert consultation were 97.4% and 98.0%, and the authoritative coefficients were 0.89 and 0.92. The coefficients of variation ranged from 0.04 to 0.28. Conclusions The scale is significantly valid and reliable with a high authority and coordination degree, and it can be used to assess the risk of perinatal VTE and initiate appropriate thrombophylactic interventions in China.

Aim To develop a self‐management scale and evaluate its validity for pregnant woman with GDM in China. Design A cross‐sectional survey design. Methods This study was conducted through three phases. The item pools of the scale were developed through literature review and expert interview. Content validity was assessed by an expert panel. Structure validity was evaluated through exploratory factor analysis. In the end, internal consistency reliability was tested. Results The self‐management scale includes four dimensions, including self‐management consciousness, pregnancy management, blood glucose management and resource utilization, with a total of 35 items. In the scale, the Cronbach's α was 0.95. The split‐half reliability of the overall scale is 0.79. And the test‐retest reliability was 0.91. The content validity was 0.94. Conclusions The scale is significantly valid and reliable, and it can be used to evaluate the self‐management ability of pregnant woman with GDM in China.

Aim This study aimed to develop generic quality nursing care indicators for a low‐ and middle‐income country’s quality nursing care measurement through a modified Delphi consensus. Design A three‐round modified Delphi process guided the items' development and acceptance consensus. Methods Twenty‐four academic and clinical nursing experts from different parts of Nigeria participated in the Delphi rounds. In the first round, 96 items (structure – 31, process – 38, and outcome – 27) were distributed to the panellists through e‐mail. The same method guided round 2. In round 3, the panellists reached a consensus on the number and structure of the items. Results In round 1, the initial items were reduced to 75 that met the Delphi consensus. In round 2, the items were modified further and reduced to 74. In round 3, the experts reached a consensus on 70 items (structure – 28, process – 32, and outcome – 10).
