Abstract:We review the etiology, characteristics and management of ocular ischemic syndrome (OIS). Ocular ischemic syndrome is a visual-threatening condition closely linked to advanced cardiovascular disease. Patients with OIS are at risk for ocular neovascularization and carotid artery stenosis.
