Research ArticleThis study aims to examine the opinions of parents on the problems faced by their children in the education and training process. One of the qualitative research designs, phenomenology (phenomenology) design, was used for this purpose. Within the research scope, interviews were conducted with 19 parents whose children studied at the primary education level. In the study, a semi-structured interview form prepared by the researcher was used to collect participants' opinions. The obtained data were analyzed by the content analysis method. As a result; Parents believe that their children's difficulties and problems in their education are due to their children's own structure, insufficient social interaction, educational problems, and limited opportunities. The most problematic issue for parents is that they lack knowledge, especially in certain classes, and as a result, they cannot provide the necessary support to their children. This is followed by the problems created by the pandemic process. Parents stated that they could not provide the school environment for their children, and often they could not establish the necessary discipline on their children. It was observed that parents also stated that they had difficulties coping with the problems arising from their children's behavior, which was reflected in their education. Based on the results obtained from this study, which deals with parents' problems in their children's educational processes, more detailed causal studies can be conducted.
