On effects of the dipole reservoir in radiofrequency discrete saturation

Abstract

The dipole reservoir is shown to cause such essential features in RFDS signals as shape asymmetry, sign reversal, and shift of the signal maximum from the nuclear frequency by a value of the order of the NMR linewidth.Es wird gezeigt, daB das Dipolreservoir solche wesentlichen Besonderheiten in RFDS-Signalen wie Asymmetrie der Linienform, Vorzeichenumkehr und Verschiebung des Signalmaximum von der Kernfrequenz von der GroBenordnnng der NMR-Linienbreite verursacht.
