On the Issue of History of Animal Protection in Russia and Germany: Experience, Prospects of Cooperation

Abstract

The article examines the process of historical development of animal protection in Russia and Germany in the XIX-XXI centuries. The authors came to the conclusion that in the course of the historical process to the present moment in both countries there has been a solid legislative base in the field of animal protection. Germany possesses invaluable practical experience that Russia can apply in the course of further bilateral cooperation.
