Product packaging design is a work that integrates graphic design and three-dimensional design. 3D visualization technology and digital virtual interaction technology in virtual reality are developing rapidly in packaging design applications. On the one hand, this study discusses the application of digital technology in the three-dimensional design of packaging structure, including packaging carton structure design, packaging container modeling design, and packaging two-dimensional visual design. On the other hand, this study studies the color correction algorithm of packaging design and proposes a color correction based on the visual characteristics of human eyes. The pattern search algorithm finds a local optimum, and the initial value affects the correction result. Therefore, inspired by the color perception properties of the human visual system, the image is corrected by combining visual multichannel and visual nonlinearity. The experimental results of the algorithm are more consistent with human visual perception.

This paper introduces the cultural dimension of product packaging, elucidates the quantification principle and methodology governing customer aesthetic experiences, propounds an innovative packaging style design approach, and presents an evaluation model based on an enhanced neural network. Using tea packaging design as an illustrative case, the methodology initially aligns adjectives, subsequently computes the emotional depth value, and ultimately derives the corresponding correlation between customer emotional experiences and design elements through a neural network. Subsequently, the designed model is validated using tea packaging design as a practical example. The outcomes demonstrate the model's accuracy and efficacy in establishing the mapping between design elements and aesthetic experiences, offering novel insights for the evolution of packaging design in the contemporary market landscape.

The study quantitatively examines how AI-generated cosmetic packaging design impact consumer satisfaction, offering strategies for database-driven development and design based on this evaluation. A comprehensive evaluation system consisting of 18 indicators in five dimensions was constructed by combining literature review and user interviews with expert opinions. On this basis, a questionnaire survey on AI-generated packaging design was conducted based on three types of datasets. In addition, importance-performance analysis was used to analyze the satisfaction of AI-generated packaging design indicators. The study found that while consumers are highly satisfied with the information transmission and creative attraction of AI-generated packaging design, the design's functional availability and user experience still have to be improved. It is suggested that the public model be combined into the data warehouse to build an AI packaging service platform. Focusing on the interpretability and controllability of the design process will also help increase consumer satisfaction and trust.
