“…The O 1s spectra presented in Figure 14C are best fitted with two peaks located at 530.1 and 531.4 eV. The former peak corresponds to Bi-O species and the latter is attributed to surface hydroxyls respectively [52]. From the XPS analysis results, it can be easily concluded that H2O2 treatment had a negative effect on the bismuthinite surface due to the formation of oxidation products that precipitate on the bismuthinite surface and alter its surface hydrophobicity.…”
