Online 3D path planning for Tri-copter drone using GWO-IBA algorithm

Abstract: Robots at present are involved in many parts of life, especially mobile robots, which are two parts, ground robots and flying robots, and the best example of a flying robot is the drone. Path planning is a fundamental part of UAVs because the drone follows the path that leads it to goal with obstacle avoidance. Therefore, this paper proposes a hybrid algorithm (grey wolf optimizationintelligent bug algorithm (GWO-IBA)) to determine the best, shortest and without obstacles path. The hybrid algorithm was impleme… Show more

“…The functions they execute in both commercial and civilian contexts are expected to progressively increase in complexity as time progresses. Here is a compilation of some of their existing capabilities [1], [5], [8], [10], [16], [34], [52]- [54], [59]: -Fully automated flights: Employing traditional techniques can pose difficulties when attempting to chart and monitor extensive regions. Nevertheless, drones equipped with pre-programmed flight routes have the capability to perform this task without the need for manual intervention.…”

“…Due to the ongoing enhancement of their affordability, they are extensively implemented in both the public and private sectors. Autonomous navigation in environments characterized by high intensity of change presents formidable obstacles for drones [34], [46], [52]. Aerospace and defense sectors initially produced drones with counterinsurgency and defense objectives in mind.…”

“…It is essential to perceive the traffic states for each segment before starting the assumption [14]. Concentrates on show that the thickness stream connection isn't ceaseless between free-stream and blocked states which can adjust the vehicle travel times, it's expressed those misjudgments happens sometimes with the double circle sensors and hence prompts dropping the framework accuracy to as low as 53% [15]. Travel times, be that as it may, experience the ill effects of the fleeting and spatial total of skims [16].…”
