Operating window perspective integrated TOPSIS approach for hybrid electrical automobile selection

Abstract: To reduce vehicle-related environmental pollution, environmental regulations should be taken into account in different levels of sustainable product development process. As a result of the increasingly emitted CO 2 and serious energy shortage electrical or hybrid automobiles are one of the possible alternatives for customers. In this study, an operating window perspective based Taguchi-TOPSIS model is developed for the hybrid electrical automobile selection problem. Operating window is a range of attributes' v… Show more

“…This study confirms that NSFDSS-II as a decision-making technique applied in the DMT can successfully be used in helping the proper decision-making process by related stakeholders. However, future studies to compare the prioritization and selection results with other MCDM methods, such as PROMETHEE [31], TOPSIS [37], and VIKOR [38] can be done. The implementation of social capital concept [39] in the decision-making process, especially in more general cases, also can be considered in the future.…”

“…Most of researchers analyzed MCDM methods for selection process and proposed various decision-making models for improvement of urban transportation and decision-making processes. In these studies, done various papers to improve urban transportation, to select the best alternative using decision making methods, AHP, TOPSIS, MOORA, VIKOR, PROMETHEE CRITIC-CoCoSo about hybrid electric vehicle (Iç and Şimşek, 2019 ; Khan et al, 2020 ); commercially EVs (Biswas and Das, 2019 ; Biswas et al, 2020 ), electric bus technology (Hamurcu and Eren, 2020a , b , c ; Hamurcu and Eren, 2022 ), alternative vehicle technology selection (Al-Alawi and Coker, 2018 ; Büyüközkan et al, 2018 ), clean energy vehicles technologies (Li et al, 2019 ), and determinaton of materials for sustainable manufacturing in automotive industry (Stoycheva et al, 2018 ).…”
