Operation Chain Model of Reconfigurable Printing Manufacturing System Based on Stochastic Process Algebra

Abstract: When printing orders change, the reconfigurable printing manufacturing system (RPMS) needs to be reconfigured, which produces many feasible reconfiguration schemes. To find the optimal reconfiguration scheme and verify its integrity, an operation chain model (OCM) of an RPMS is proposed to describe the operating process of an RPMS. First, a comprehensive evaluation algorithm considering both subjective and objective evaluation probabilities is designed by analyzing the characteristics of the printing productio… Show more

“…Finally, except for the deadlock freedom property, data consistency and soundness are also important aspects of concurrent systems [67][68][69][70][71][72][73]. [44,74,75] have proposed several Petri net unfolding-based methods to verify these properties, including verifying CTL (Computation Tree Logic), detecting data inconsistency, and checking soundness of workflow systems.…”

“…In recent years, market demand has changed significantly in both the printing industry [1] and the food packaging industry [2], [3]. From the original single type and large batch to multi-variety and small batch, especially the customized and high-fidelity color printing matters have attracted the attention of customers [4]. The high-fidelity (Hi-Fi) color printing matters require printing presses to have a wider color gamut range.…”

“…Unpredictable and frequent market changes including demand fluctuations and rapid introduction of new products make the development of cost effective and responsive manufacturing systems a necessity for companies to survive in the new competitive environment [1], [2]. In the late 1990s, the concept of reconfigurable manufacturing system (RMS) is proposed by Y. Koren, the professor of University of Michigan [3].…”
