Nowadays, society and organizations face an accelerated innovation that requires of professionals with new skills and attitudes, especially those related to collective creativity. However, educational environments are slowly integrating emerging paradigms limiting the contribution to the development of key skills related to innovation. Multiple investigations claim that teachers have conservative attitudes toward collaborative schemes, while employers generally recognize the effectiveness of creativity at work. Management of ideas is the core of creativity in innovation processes in the industry and in production and service management. This depends largely on the collective work and individual social skills, as well as on the capabilities that information technology and communication (ICT) provide. This article presents a process of collective ideas refinement (CIR) and combines paradigms of swarm creativity and social skills as a means to capture the participants' emotions.

Web 2.0 tools have created fresh opportunities for governments, education, businesses and individuals to enhance efficiency and improve effectiveness while executing respective professional duties. The key features of these tools include online character and access through a web browser, supportive for open content licenses, open sharing and social interaction, and often free to use or support free features. These have created novel prospects for teachers to combine face-to-face teaching and online materials via social media such as discussion forums, blogs and wikis. The web 2.0 educational design is based on socio-cultural learning theories such as interaction, joint creation of content, critical thinking, learning by doing and collaboration. This paper makes an appraisal of ICT adoption in education, emergence of Web, improvements in Web and its effect on the e-Learning. It explains gradual integration of ICT into education through various stages. The paper presents the content and communication dimensions of e-learning for its classification. It discusses various opportunities created by Web 2.0 tools in education for effective teacher-learner, learner-learner and teacher-teacher communication, interaction and collaboration. It presents various cases and projects involving use of some Web 2.0 tools for enhancing learning. Furthermore, it lists some challenges for successful implementation of e-learning through Web 2.0 tools and discusses some possible solutions for its control.

Integration of Web based ICT tools in education aiming to bring quality education to everyone and everywhere is a worldwide phenomenon. Teachers and learners are benefited as these tools increase efficiency and effectiveness of learning, teaching, planning and managing by establishing linkages and collaboration, facilitating experimentation and lifelong learning and providing easy to use management and administrative tools. Web has created various opportunities for extending teacher-learner, learner-learner and teacherteacher communications, interactions and collaborations beyond classrooms. However, the use of Web based tools for education face diverse challenges on multiple fronts which may not only lead to digital divide, security and privacy issues but may also make integration ineffective or even injurious. This paper makes an appraisal of opportunities and challenges of the use of Web tools for education. The opportunities created by these tools in various areas of education have been studied and examined. It also identifies current and possible issues associated with the use of Web based ICT tools and proposes solutions to overcome these issues for effective integration of Web based ICT tools in education.
