“…The relative deviations of the data from the obtained model ( 8 ) are < , except of the wavelengths above , where the error increases. As a next step, we have extracted several values of the specific Faraday rotation from the figures found in the available literature sources [ 25 , 44 , 57 , 62 , 63 ], and included them in the second plot, in the Figure 4 b. The deviation of the specific Faraday rotation values found in the available literature from the values given by the model ( 8 ) with the aforementioned fitted parameters is < in the < , as well as in the extrapolated > spectral ranges.…”

“…In contrast with the Dy O ceramics, the CeF crystal (yellow line) has a wide window of transparency ranging from (the material’s cut-off wavelength is located at ∼ [ 28 ], which is not detectable with the spectrophotometer that was used) to . The YIG crystal (blue line) is transparent from to ∼ [ 13 , 42 , 43 , 44 ]. The transparency windows of these materials nicely match the emission wavelengths of some of the visible, near-IR and, most interestingly for our investigation, some of the Tm , Ho or Er -doped lasers emitting around 2 and wavelengths mentioned in the introduction [ 1 , 8 , 9 , 45 ].…”

“…On the other hand, FeBO 3 is a uniaxial crystal with the optical axis of [0,0,1] direction [8]. Thus, detuning from the normal incidence results in the appearance of strong optical birefringence that significantly influences and limits the value [9][10][11] and even changes the sign of the Faraday effect [12,13].…”
