Optical frequency comb based on cascading intensity modulation for optical arbitrary waveform generation
Abstract: We propose a new method for optical frequency comb (OFC) based on cascading intensity modulation. And then by selecting spectral lines of interest from OFC via optical filters, 10GHz, 20GHz sinusoidal signals with low phase noise and several desirable waveforms are generated.
