OPTIMASI WAKTU PEMBELAHAN SEL DAN SUHU KEJUTAN TERHADAP TINGKAT KEBERHASILAN TRIPLOID IKAN SERUKAN (Osteochilus sp.)

Abstract

This study aims to determine the optimization of cell division and temperature shock on the triploid success rate of the seurukan fish (Osteochilus sp.) By allowing different temperature shock on the degree of fertilization, the degree of hatching, the success rate of the triploid, the daily growth rate and the survival rate of the serukan fish's (Osteochilus sp.). In this research, the age of the zygote used was 20 minutes old after fertilization, the shock duration was 2 minutes and the temperature shock were 40, 41, and 42°C. larvae were looked after for 14 days and fed with egg yolk and Artemia sp. using Adlibitum with a frequency of 2 times a day. The container used in this study was a 12-unit jar with a volume of 2.5 liters of water equipped with aeration with 15 larvae for each replication. The results showed that larvae that treated in different heat shocks had a significant effect (P <0.05) on the fertilization degree 49.3 ± 6.9% with a temperature shock of 41°C, as for hatching degrees 49.2 ± 11.1% with a temperature shock of 41°C, and survival rate is 84.4 ± 7.6% at temperature shock of 41°C, while daily growth rate had no significant effect (P> 0.05) 5.15 ± 1.0% at temperature shock of 41°C, further 60% of triploid success rate with a temperature shock of 42°C.
