“…In carrot farming, optimum crop yield is associated with proper seed germination along with other factors 5 . Optimum germination is noted to begin with planting the appropriate number of seeds into the desired spacing 5 – 7 . Carrots, when planted too close, have a lesser chance to develop optimum-sized roots 8 .…”

“…In the present study, a multilayer feed forward neural network model was developed for modelling of operating parameters of PDA aerator using MATLAB R2013a package. Its high learning ability and information processing potentiality make it suitable for complex nonlinear modelling without prior knowledge about the input-output relationships, which is difficult to handle with the statistical approach (Pareek et al 2020). The ANNs have better generalizability, less susceptibility to noise and outliers than the regression models, and also can handle incomplete data (Luk et al 2001).…”

“…Navid et al (2011) showed that the correct seed feeding system in row-crop planters is of great importance in the regularity of the farming process in terms of uniform seed distribution. Many researches and field experiments to develop farming machines and evaluate the performance of feeders and raise the efficiency of their work to suit the diversity of seeds and farming systems, from other hand Pareek et al . (2021) indicated that the prime objective of precision planters for better crop growth and yield uniform is seed distribution within the row.…”
