Oral Candidiasis: A Histopathological, Ultrastructural and Immunohistochemical Study

Abstract: Oral candidiasis presents characteristic histopathological findings. The mucous epithelium at the site of candidiasis is covered by a hyperkeratinized layer. But, the factors leading to hyperkeratosis in candidiasis were unknown.
